IN TIME' MULTIMEDIA EXHIBITION AT REPUBLICAN NATIONAL CONVENTION
SAN DIEGO, California, August 27, 2004- American Technology Corporation (NASDAQ:
ATCO),), an innovator of proprietary sound reproduction technologies, announced
today its proprietary HyperSonic Sound® (HSS) technology is providing the
audio for TIME Magazine's 'Campaigns in TIME' multimedia exhibition. 'Campaigns
in TIME' features selected campaign photographs and selected audio clips of
convention speeches from 1960 through present day. The exclusive exhibit celebrates
the American political process and will be on display during the Republican
National Convention at Madison Square Garden in New York City August 30 - September
2. The exhibit was also displayed at the Democratic National Convention held
in Boston last month. Exhibit content is tailored to each convention's audience.
In the exhibition, milestone convention speeches are delivered via HSS, ATC's
cutting-edge audio technology. HSS beams a highly directional virtual column
of sound directly to the listener, creating a uniquely intimate and clear audio
experience.

"the Portal") of WIRED NextFest.2004. Created by WIRED Magazine and
presented by GE, WIRED NextFest is a unique exhibition that brings together
innovations from inventors and R&D labs from around the world. Created for
kids and adults alike, WIRED NextFest is a three-day mini world's fair showcasing
more than 100 hands-on exhibits that center on "the future of" seven
core themes: entertainment, communications, transportation, space/undersea exploration,
health, design and security.

Technology Corporation Begins Generation II Deliveries to Major Customers
SAN DIEGO, California, August 21, 2003
American Technology Corporation (NASDAQ: ATCO) today announced initial HyperSonic
Sound® (HSS) Speakers utilizing Generation II emitter technology have been
delivered to several major customers including Sony Business Europe, iPort Media
and others. "Our Generation II HSS emitters are built with a free form
design that doesn't require a vacuum. Distortion levels are dramatically reduced
while reliability is greatly improved. We have addressed the major materials
issues with our vendors and we are ramping up production to fill our back-log
and address new orders," added Irish.

AGREEMENT WITH MAGNOTEK MANUFACTURING
SAN DIEGO, California, June 17, 2003 - American Technology Corporation (NASDAQ:
ATCO) today announced a manufacturing agreement with Magnotek Manufacturing,
a wholly-owned subsidiary of The Advanced Group headquartered in Riverside,
California. Under the agreement, Magnotek will be manufacturing and assembling
Generation II HSS systems for American Technology Corporation and its growing
list of original equipment manufacturers (OEMs).

AMERICAN TECHNOLOGY CORPORATION AND iPORT MEDIA ENTER INTO
MARKETING AND DISTRIBUTION AGREEMENT
SAN DIEGO, California, May 29, 2003
American Technology Corporation (NASDAQ: ATCO) today announced a marketing and
distribution agreement with privately owned iPort Media. Under the agreement,
iPort Media will market and distribute audio/visual displays featuring American
Technology Corporation's (ATC) patented HSS to the worldwide optical retail
industry. The displays, known as iPort Systems, will be customized for regional
areas by narrowcasting infomercials interspersed with local news and weather.
The infomercials will feature the latest information on frames, lenses, contacts,
Lasik eye surgery and vision-related pharmaceutical products.
iPort Media was founded by Dr. Arthur J. Jordan, co-founder of the Northeastern
Eye Institute of Media Pennsylvania, one of the largest ophthalmological/optometric
practices in the United States. Dr. Jordan was the first to marry ophthalmology,
optometric and opticianry services in the interest of improved patient care.
Audio Spotlight systems are being sold for this application through both EyeMaginations
and iPort (after iPort stopped using HSS). eyeMaginations seems to be more successful,
but both are supplying Audio Spotlight products to this market.

HSS® SALES AGREEMENT WITH SONY BUSINESS EUROPE
SAN DIEGO, California, May 27, 2003
American Technology Corporation (NASDAQ: ATCO) today announced a sales agreement
to supply HSS units and technology to Sony Business Europe. HSS technology will
be used to provide hyper-directional audio solutions for Sony Business' European
customers. One of the first applications of HSS will be in conjunction with
their plasma screen digital signage business to provide hyper-directional audio
for business systems applications.
